Hans Wehr Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic

"This edition of the Dictionary, published eighteen years after its first appearance is an enlarged and improved version of it original corpus. During the past two decades, the Dictionary has achieved widespread acceptance and use. In the interim, modern written Arabic has continued to exhibit vigorous lexical growth. Therefore, feeling the need to fill in many gaps and update the corpus, the author again undertook systematic collection of material. In addition to many neologisms of recent origin, the author has incorporated much older material attested in present-day contexts, which had not yet appeared in the Dictionary, as well as numerous improvements and corrections. The result is this revised 4th edition has nearly 200 new pages."

Sirat Rasoul Allah

"Ibn Ishaq -(Muhammad ibn Ishaq (d. 767 or 761)) The earliest Islamic historian whose work still survives. He collected oral traditions that formed the basis of an important extant biography of the Prophet. Although is original books have been lost his work survived through that of his editors, such as Ibn Hisham and Ibn Jarir al-Tabari.
This is a translation by Alfred Guillaume who has attempted to compile the original text of Ibn Ishaq by combining his work referenced in several sources. This is mainly from Ibn Hisham but with additions from other sources. Ibn Hisham work was well known for having redacted large sections of Ibn Ishaq when it was felt it was controversial or did not comply with orthodox doctrine."

The Truth About Muhammad

"In The Truth about Muhammad, New York Times bestselling author and Islam expert Robert Spencer offers an honest and telling portrait of the founder of Islam-perhaps the first such portrait in half a century-unbounded by fear and political correctness, unflinching, and willing to face the hard facts about Muhammad's life that continue to affect our world today.
From Muhammad's first "revelation" from Allah (which filled him with terror that he was demonpossessed) to his deathbed (from which he called down curses upon Jews and Christians), it's all here-told with extensive documentation from the sources that Muslims themselves consider most reliable about Muhammad."
